The NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center will host the 2021 USA Archery South Dakota State and State JOAD Indoor Championships on January 16. This year, USA Archery will offer the opportunity to participate in the 52nd USA Archery Indoor Nationals and the 2021 USA Archery JOAD Indoor Nationals by submitting your score from these State Championship events. This is a great opportunity to compete for national honors at an in-state event!
The Lewis and Clark – Larry Ness Friends of NRA Chapter will host their
second annual banquet at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center on
December 5, 2020. Social hour will be at 5:30PM, dinner catered by Heck’s
Barbeque at 7PM with auction and raffles to follow. There will be a free raffle
for all veterans and first responders for a Kimber Custom II Team 2A .45 ACP
Tickets are $40/person and can be purchased at the NFAA Easton Yankton
Archery Center and Dakota Archery or online at friendsofnra.org. Tickets
purchased prior to November 30th will be entered into a drawing for two 45qt
camo Big Frig coolers.

Friends of NRA is a key grassroots event that supports thousands of
community services related to firearm education, hunter safety, wildlife
conservation, range improvements, youth marksmanship, law enforcement,

Interested in learning skills that can pay dividends for a lifetime? Try our bow hunting class this summer
to learn the skills needed to bow hunt. Explore Bow Hunting teaches youth how to interact with the natural
world around them. This class teaches archers how to close the distance with an animal, and helps youth
relate to the age-old customs and skills involved in bow hunting. Bow hunting teaches youth how to
appreciate the natural world around them, and enhances their enjoyment of the outdoors by connecting
them with nature. A prerequisite course of introductory archery is required to participate in this class.
Examples of prerequisite classes are TRY archery, After School Archery, Introduction to Archery, or
Intermediate Archery. Fee: $50 + tax.
The 2020 First Dakota Classic has been postponed. Original Date was April 17 – 19. New dates will be announced soon.
The First Dakota Classic is an indoor distance tournament featuring the NFAA Classic round and is a money shoot, guaranteeing 70% payback in all Flight and Championship categories.
The First Dakota Classic will feature a qualification round, followed by head-to-head eliminations.
TRY Archery- Saturdays 11am-12:30pm- Beginner’s archery class for all ages. This is a great class for people curious about archery but are uncertain about signing up for classes; or parents checking if their kids are interested enough to sign up for classes. It’s also an awesome activity for friends and families looking for something to do on a Saturday morning. Open to everyone, no registration required, drop-ins welcome. Price is only $5.00 per person.

Archery Compound Adventure Day Camp ages 7+
Archers will try a variety of games at the largest archery center in the world. Activities include target, 3D and field archery as well as crafts and bow birds (think trap shooting with bows). All equipment is provided, though archers are welcome to bring their own. Students must have completed the Explore Compound Archery class or equivalent safety class offered at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center (TRY Archery or After School Archery Classes for example) This is an outdoor activity, so dress appropriately. Please bring water, sack lunch and a snack. Class size 4-20

Join us at the 74th annual NFAA Outdoor National Field Championships in Yankton, SD July 26-28, 2019. This 3–day tournament features 1 field, 1 hunter, and 1 animal round.
