City Parks
The city of Yankton has offer a little something for everyone. Kids will love the playgrounds at Fantle Memorial Park as well as other parks throughout town. Sports enthusiasts will delight in the baseball and softball fields, ice skating rinks, basketball courts, horseshoes, sand volleyball, a skate park, soccer fields, bocce ball courts, disc golf, tennis courts and future home of The Huether Family Aquatics Center.
Picnic Shelters
The City of Yankton has a variety of picnic shelters that can be reserved for your special occasion. Shelters can be found in Riverside Park, Fantle Memorial Park, Sertoma Park, Tripp Park, and Westside Park. State and National Parks
The Yankton Area is home to Lewis & Clark Recreation area, Missouri River National Park, Lewis and Clark State Park (Nebraska),
Lewis & Clark Recreation Area, Pierson Ranch Recreation Area and Chief White Crane Recreation Area have multiple shelters that can be reserved for your special occasion. To reserve, call (605) 668-2985.
