Hiking & Biking Trails

The Meridian Trails System

In March of 2019, Yankton was hit by the bomb-cyclone that affected much of Nebraska, South Dakota & Iowa. This catastrophe severely damaged the Auld-Brokaw Trail System in the city of Yankton. You can learn more about the damage to the trail system by following this link, where you will find an interactive aerial image viewer.

We will keep you updated here with the progress of the trail system repairs. If you have questions please reach out to us at visityankton@yanktonsd.com or 605-665-3636.

The Meridian Trails System offers over 40 miles of trails filled with scenic beauty and several historic sites.
